Gekås in Ullared is Sweden's largest department store and can usually accommodate 10,000 people at a time, with a capacity for up to 40,000 people per day.

Can it not be interpreted that you are trying to circumvent the rules with this division?

- It is rather the opposite.

The division means that we get two queuing systems and customers can move safely at the entrances and exits.

In both department stores we offer 30 square meters per person.

We have really done what we can to reduce the risk of congestion, says Gekås CEO Patrik Levin.
