Güstrow / Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The CDU state chairman Michael Sack has prepared his party for a digital election campaign on social media.
"If we do not get involved in this election campaign, we will not take place in a very large area," said Sack on Saturday in Güstrow at the meeting of representatives.
However, the CDU is well equipped for this type of election campaign.
He knows that the state chairman and top candidate is decisive for the election result.
But one alone will not win the election, stressed Sack, who has been state chairman since August last year.
He appealed to his party to campaign as a team.
Around 150 party members met in the sports and congress hall under pandemic conditions.
The state lists for the Bundestag and state elections on September 26th are to be determined there.
