Italy remains divided into colored zones, established according to the level of risk of contamination.

And a new color, dark orange, has been instituted for municipalities at very high risk but do not reach a maximum level, such as those classified in red.

In areas of red or dark orange color, located mainly in the North, especially in Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, but also in the Center, Tuscany and Umbria and in the South, in Campania, Basilicata and Sicily, the teaching will be done remotely.

Moreover, whether in a light orange or yellow zone, if the incidence of the coronavirus was greater than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, it would be up to the local authorities to make decisions.

According to the National Association of School Directors, 6 million students will again be deprived of face-to-face lessons.

Last year, all

schools were closed

for 100 days in a row from March 4.

The balance sheet for this Saturday in the amounted to 23,641 new cases of contamination and 307 additional deaths.
