Cologne (dpa) - For the pop singer Vanessa Neigert, "Let's Dance" is over after two episodes.

The audience decided on Friday evening that the 28-year-old and her dance partner Alexandru Ionel (26) had to be the first to leave the TV dance show in the 14th season.

The singer (“Emotions never die”) achieved sixth place in the sixth season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in 2009.

In the eyes of the jurors, she lacked vigor in her salsa dance: "You have to step on the gas," her juror Joachim Llambi had advised.

Looking at Neigert's hit colleague Mickie Krause, who had also received harsh criticism before her, Llambi said: "He was a volcano of movement against you."

With nine points from the jury, Neigert was still two points ahead of Krause - but although Motsi Mabuse believed that Krause had "destroyed" the Cha-Cha-Cha, the audience later decided in his favor.

Former Tagesschau spokesman Jan Hofer and Formula 1 reporter Kai Ebel both only managed ten points.

Juror Llambi again found very direct words for many dancers.

To Kai Ebel he said: "You walk a bit like Rübezahl over the area here."

He advised boxer Simon Zachenhuber to be less restrained: "I don't expect you to be able to pick up little Simon in the ball pit."

And he advised the presenter Lola Weippert to do more sport: “It got a bit sluggish from behind.

Better to sacrifice an hour in the gym every now and then.

Helps you maintain endurance, ”he said after Weippert's Quickstep.

Ex- "Prince Charming" Nicolas Puschmann (29) danced 18 points with Vadim Garbuzov.

For the first time, two men are dancing with each other in a German “Let's Dance” season.

Puschmann, who became known with the gay dating format “Prince Charming”, first had the plan, according to RTL, to participate with a woman - but then took inspiration from the Austrian edition of the dance show (“Dancing Stars”), where two men had already danced together in 2011.

"I caught myself with the fact that when a man dances with a man, it took some getting used to optically and was different," said the 29-year-old in the single player.

“But that's exactly it.

Maybe you have to get used to some changes first.

But then it can be good in the end. "

During their cha-cha-cha, the two men took turns leading - the fact that the classic "It's Raining Men" was played was commented by moderator Daniel Hartwich: "This is my RTL".

Above all, the jurors praised the fun that Puschmann had seen dancing.

The Icelandic footballer Rúrik Gíslason received the best criticism from the jury.

Because he had secured a wildcard last week and did not count in the rating, the model Kim Riekenberg and the actress Valentina Pahde shared first place with 23 points each.
