"Silk Road Shipping" included 8 proposals including the national "One Belt One Road" key projects.

  When Feng Hongchang arrived in Beijing, he sent back a video to Xiamen Container Terminals Group, introducing the eight proposals to be submitted by the conference. Combining the focus of the shipping industry and the livelihood of the people, it will provide suggestions for the construction of the industrial worker team and the high-quality development of the port industry.

  Feng Hongchang told reporters that these suggestions involve people's livelihood protection, domestic trade terminal container management, and "Silk Road Maritime Transport".

  Among them, focusing on the Fujian "Silk Road Shipping" project, he will submit the "Suggestions on Incorporating "Silk Road Shipping" into the National "One Belt and One Road" Key Projects", which will promote the interconnection of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in a more targeted and systematic manner. The level of interoperability is improved, and high-quality development is finally achieved.

  Feng Hongchang suggested in-depth research on the convergence of "Silk Road Maritime" and "One Belt and One Road" vision, and strengthen the integration of "Silk Road Maritime" with the key tasks of "Transportation Power" "National Logistics Hub" and other key ministries and commissions.

  He also suggested that the relevant national departments give the "Silk Road Maritime" brand and platform construction the national innovation policy to be tested first in Fujian, such as the trial of the port of departure tax rebate, and the promotion of the data exchange between customs and ports.

  In addition, Feng Hongchang suggested that the country establish a national coordination and promotion agency for "Silk Road Shipping" similar to the "China-Europe Express", and at the same time create more favorable conditions for the high-quality development of the core area of ​​the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

  When Feng Hongchang was 18 years old, he came to Xiamen Haitian Wharf for an internship from a rural village in Nanjing, Zhangzhou, Fujian. Since then, he has been in Xiamen for 24 years.

In April 2010, he was awarded the title of "National Model Worker".

In December 2014, Feng Hongchang won the "Chinese Skills Award" and became the youngest winner of the Chinese Skills Award in Fujian Province.
