Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Striker Luka Jovic, on loan from Real Madrid, also considers staying with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the end of the season to be ruled out.

“I'll think about it when the season is over,” said the 23-year-old Serb of the “Bild” newspaper (Saturday).

"Now I'm just concentrating on Eintracht Frankfurt and am working on playing the upcoming games as well as possible."

Basically anything is conceivable, "because you never know what is going to happen in professional football".

Jovic played a total of 54 games for Frankfurt from 2017 to 2019 and scored 25 goals.

Then he moved to Madrid for around 60 million euros.

After he was rarely used there, he returned to the Main on loan, where he had so far mostly had to sit on the bench.

"I think the return to Frankfurt in itself is progress and undoubtedly a good move, because so many things fit me here," said Jovic.
