The current pandemic situation in Italy would immediately require a hard lockdown. Alternatively, the only possible compromise is that of an automatic red zone at the exact moment in which the threshold of 250 infections per 100 thousand inhabitants is exceeded. This is the position of the Technical Scientific Committee which, according to what AGI has learned, would have 'strongly' suggested to the government to anchor the automatism at this threshold beyond which health management becomes out of control.
