The updated situation in Italy and in the world



Today's data from the Ministry of Health on coronavirus in Italy.

Today there are 23,641 new cases with 355,024 swabs and 307 victims.

Yesterday there were 24,036 cases with 378,463 swabs and 297 victims. 



In

Lombardy

in the last 24 hours, 5,658 new people infected by Covid-19 have been registered.



In Emilia-Romagna, 3,232 cases and 25 deaths


There are 3,232 - 276,601 from the beginning of the epidemic - the new cases of coronavirus positivity in Emilia-Romagna where, in the last 24 hours, a total of 36,607 swabs were carried out.

Of the newly infected, 1,369 are asymptomatic identified thanks to regional tracking and screening activities.

On the front of the healed, there are 1,073 more than yesterday (213,413 since the beginning of the epidemic) while the active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 52,442 (+2,134 compared to yesterday).

Of these, people in isolation at home, with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 49,414 (+2,034), 95% of the total number of active cases.

There are nine other patients admitted to intensive care (275 in total) and 91 in the other Covid departments for a total of 2,753.

In the last 24 hours there have been 25 new deaths.



In Piedmont 1,793 new cases and 25 deaths


Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region reported 1,793 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 303 after antigen tests), equal to 6.7% of the 26,879 swabs performed , of which 18,956 antigenic.

Of the 1,793 new cases, 567 (31.6%) were asymptomatic.

There are 192 people admitted to intensive care (+ 7 compared to yesterday).

Non-intensive care patients are 2,263 (+ 40 compared to yesterday).

There are 18,987 people in home isolation.

The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 3,139,569 (+ 26,879 compared to yesterday), of which 1,198,472 were negative.

There are 25 deaths of positive people in the Covid-19 test reported by the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region, of which 1 today.

The total is now 9,486 deaths tested positive for the virus.



In Lazio 1,563 cases and 13 deaths


Today out of almost 14 thousand swabs in Lazio (-2.154) and over 25 thousand antigenic for a total of 39 thousand tests, there are 1,563 positive cases (+38), 13 deaths (-6) and + 943 the healed.

This was announced by the Regional Health Councilor Alessio D'Amato.

"Deaths and intensive care are decreasing, while cases and hospitalizations are increasing - he adds -. The ratio between positives and swabs is 11%, but if we also consider the antigenic ones the percentage drops below 4%. The cases in Rome city are at an altitude of 600 ".



Veneto, 1,539 infections and 17 deaths


New leap forward in infections in the report on Covid in Veneto, The Region's bulletin reports 1,539 positives and 17 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 341,281, that of the dead to 9,953.

In hospitals, 1,197 patients are hospitalized in ordinary wards, while in intensive care there are 153 beds occupied by patients affected by the virus.



In Puglia 1,483 new positives and 15 deaths


The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion Department Vito Montanaro, informs that today in Puglia, 10,526 tests for Covid-19 coronavirus infection have been recorded and 1,483 positive cases were recorded.

15 deaths were recorded.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,613,815 tests have been carried out.

115,362 are the patients recovered.

34,853 are currently positive cases.

The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 154,302.



Tuscany, 1,293 new cases


The new positive Covid cases registered in Tuscany are 1,293 out of 25,273 tests of which 15,726 molecular swabs and 9,547 rapid tests, with a rate of new positives of 5.12% (10% on the first diagnoses).

Eugenio Giani, president of the Region, wrote it on his Facebook page.

The number of new cases has slightly increased compared to yesterday (they were 1,231), the number of tests stable (they were 25,341).

Giani also announced that today there are over 31,000 people over 80 vaccinated.



Marche, 836 positive


There are 836 new cases of coronavirus detected in the Marche among the new diagnoses on the last day (19.1%), almost three quarters of which in the provinces of Ancona and Macerata, now in the red zone, which register respectively with 431 (51.5%) and 162 (19.3%).

This was communicated by the Health Service of the Region.

Symptomatic subjects are 92 while 40.5% of the total number of infections concerns close contacts of positive people (339).

In the last 24 hours, "6,628 swabs were tested: 4,382 in the new diagnosis pathway (of which 1,864 in the screening with the Antigenic pathway) and 2,246 in the healed pathway (with a positive / tested ratio of 19.1%)".



Friuli Venezia Giulia, 482 new infections and 10 deaths


Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, out of 7,150 molecular swabs, 482 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 6.74%.

There are also 3,115 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 179 cases (5.74%) were detected.

There are 10 registered deaths, plus another one in February;

there are 63 hospitalizations in intensive care while those in other departments are 409. This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The total deaths amounted to 2,899.

The totally healed are 63,529, the clinically healed 2,169, while those in isolation today are 11,214.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 80,283 people have been positive.



In Abruzzo 25 deaths and 442 positives


Today in Abruzzo there are 442 new Coronavirus positives.

5458 molecular swabs and 1848 antigen tests were performed.

Of the 25 deceased, 6 date back to recent days and reported only today by the Local Health Authorities).

While 42046 are cured (+425), 13107 are currently positive (-9), 631 hospitalized in the medical area (-26), 86 hospitalized in intensive care (-1), 12390 in home isolation (+18).



Umbria, 283 cases and 13 deaths


The number of Covid positives decreases in Umbria, infections and hospitalizations decrease, and the recovered ones have increased: this is what emerges from the data of the last 24 released by the Region, updated to 6 March.

However, 13 other deaths were reported.

The new positives are 283 and the cured are 448. The currently positives therefore drop from 7,603 to 7,425.

There are 508 hospitalized in hospital, nine fewer than yesterday, 82 of which (four fewer) in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 3,833 molecular swabs and 2,873 antigen tests were analyzed.



Liguria, 272 new positives


There are 272 new coronavirus positives in Liguria today, compared to 3963 molecular swabs carried out in the last 24 hours.

This is the data released by the Ligurian task force for the coronavirus emergency in the usual daily bulletin.

In all, 565 patients are hospitalized in the structures of Liguria, 8 fewer than yesterday, of which 59 are hospitalized in intensive care units.

To date, there are 5,295 people in home isolation.

On the other hand, the number of deaths registered in the last 24 hours is 7.



Another 4 deaths in South Tyrol and 218 cases


 In South Tyrol there are another four deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours (the total since the beginning of the pandemic is 1,056).

This was communicated by the health authority, specifying that the laboratories carried out 1,532 molecular swabs, registering 107 new positive cases;

then another 111 positive antigenic tests were detected out of 13,213 carried out yesterday.

There are currently 183 Covid-19 patients admitted to normal hospital wards, while 160 are hospitalized in affiliated private facilities.

There are 134 patients in isolation in the Colle Isarco and Sarnes facilities. There are 43 Covid patients admitted to intensive care units. There are 7,323 people in quarantine / home isolation.



In Basilicata 185 positive and two deaths


In Basilicata - which since last March 1st is the red zone - 1,800 molecular swabs were analyzed yesterday: 185 tested positive for coronavirus and of these 177 belong to residents in the region.

This was announced by the regional task force, specifying that in the last 24 hours two deaths have been recorded, one of which was by a resident in Basilicata, with the total number of Lucanian victims therefore risen to 365. 107 (like yesterday) were hospitalized. in Lucanian hospitals, of which 13 (one more than yesterday) in intensive care, five at San Carlo di Potenza and eight at Madonna delle Grazie in Matera.

With 26 recoveries recorded yesterday and another 71 that had not yet been counted, the number of Lucanians currently positive is 3,734 (3,627 in home isolation).

In total there are 11,906 healed from Basilicata.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in Basilicata, 248,566 molecular swabs have been analyzed, 229,747 of which were negative and 152,047 people were tested.



In Sardinia 73 new cases and 4 deaths


detected 41,650 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.

In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 73 new cases were detected.

In total, 791,879 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 2,204 tests compared to the previous figure.

The positive cases-swabs performed ratio marks a positive rate of 3.3% for the island.

There were 4 deaths (1,183 in all).

On the other hand, 191 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (-1), while 24 (-1) patients are in intensive care.

There are 12,431 people in home isolation.

The healed are a total of 27,636 (+109), while the people declared clinically cured on the island are currently 185.



In Valle d'Aosta 16 cases


In Valle d'Aosta 16 new positives that bring the total to 8,114 since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the regional bulletin.

The current positives are 173, of which 10 are hospitalized.

Between these two in intensive care and 161 instead are the people currently in home isolation.

The total of deaths is unchanged at 416.
