Hamburg (dpa / lno) - In Hamburg, the number of new corona infections rose by 232 on Saturday.
That is 29 cases more than on Saturday a week ago, as the health authority announced (as of 12 noon).
The seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, rose from 78.7 to 80.2 compared to the previous day.
A week ago this value was 77.6.
According to the information, a total of 53 189 Hamburg residents have been infected with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), 48,000 are now considered recovered.
The number of people who died of or with the virus in Hamburg rose by 5 to 1306, according to the RKI.
According to the authorities, as of Friday, 243 corona patients were treated in the Hamburg clinics - two more than on Thursday.
The number of intensive care patients rose by 8 to 87 in the same period.
