[Explanation] "Solve the employment of more than 4,000 left-behind women, drive more than 300 poor households out of poverty, set up 100 relocation poverty alleviation workshops in relocation sites for poverty alleviation, with an annual output value of about 60 million yuan...", this is Shi Liping, the representative of the National People's Congress and the seventh-generation inheritor of Songtao Miao embroidery, used an embroidery needle to create a miracle in the fight against poverty.

Recently at the National Congress of the People’s Republic of China, Shi Liping said in an exclusive interview with China News Agency that he hopes to take one step closer in the future and use fingertip skills to leverage rural revitalization and make intangible cultural heritage products a luxury product in the world.

During the eight years of walking in Guizhou starting in 2000, I can already say that I have traveled all over Guizhou’s Miao villages and villages. After collecting and sorting out, I have seen a lot of the imminent demise and disappearance of (Miao embroidery). I was already Can't sit still.

[Explanation] In 2008, after a journey of more than 30,000 kilometers, Shi Liping decided to set up a company, through the company's development model, to protect inheritance, innovate and use, so that Miao embroidery "live".

I am advocating industry to feed back intangible cultural heritage and industry to feed back on inheritance. We are sustainable utilization and sustainable development, and then we each express our abilities and do our own work. Inheritance is inheritance and entrepreneurship is entrepreneurship. After this division of labor and collaboration, Our Songtao Miao embroidery protection has been passed down to this day, and it is also developing in a healthy and orderly manner.

[Explanation] For more than 20 years, under the impetus of Shi Liping, today's Songtao Miao embroidery has walked out of the small mountain villages in Guizhou, walked into the Great Hall of the People, walked on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and went to the world.

Now we want more people to know that our products are continuously sold to 67 countries and regions through the pigeon flower brand. If there is no epidemic, our sales will be sold abroad every year (percentage) 60 %~70%, this is from abroad, and the annual sales to foreign countries are about 50 million yuan.

[Explanation] The epidemic has not stopped the development of Shi Liping and Miao embroidery. The rise of the live broadcast e-commerce industry has opened another door for product promotion.

On February 27th, we held an event in Kuaishou, which was not bad. After a few minutes of live broadcast, it sold for tens of thousands of dollars.

So I think this one is also the most profitable for me this year, and it also allows me to re-recognize myself, one that needs to use modern technology to complete more of our business development.

[Explanation] The small needle tip has moved the local cause of poverty alleviation. “Embroidering with one stitch and one thread is so wonderful!” The wonderful career also attracted many post-90s and post-00s to join. This is Shi Liping’s happiest thing. With the participation of young people, intangible cultural heritage can be better inherited and rural revitalization can be better realized.

Shi Liping still has a big dream in the future.

We have been advocating with our sisters that in the future the world's luxury goods will come from intangible cultural heritage and from our handicrafts.

I have always felt that this dream will be realized, because our country has such a (strong) national strength, and we have so many good inheritors, that is the craftsmanship of a great country, and I believe that the world's luxury goods come from China's intangible heritage.
