Munich (dpa / lby) - After the cabinet today (1 p.m.), the Bavarian state parliament must also approve the new corona strategy for the coming weeks.
This relies not only on an extension of the lockdown until March 28, but also on a step-by-step plan for further openings.
Depending on the occurrence of the infection, however, aggravations would also be possible again.
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week remains decisive for the procedure at the municipal level.
If the incidence is stable below 50, more easing is possible, for example for schools, trade, culture or sport.
If it is above 100, an emergency brake applies, which again puts a hard lockdown into effect.
The procedure is to be flanked by further vaccinations and mass corona tests.
Before the parliamentary groups debate in the special session of the state parliament, Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) wants to explain the new strategy in a government statement, which essentially implements all the agreements made by the federal and state governments last Wednesday.
