Berlin (dpa / bb) - The police have provisionally arrested a seven-member alleged gang of burglars.
The six men between the ages of 25 and 42 and a 22-year-old woman are accused of breaking into an apartment in July last year and going on a shopping spree with stolen documents, the police and public prosecutor announced in Berlin on Friday.
Three of the men were stopped in a stolen car in the Berlin district of Alt-Hohenschönhausen at the beginning of February.
According to the information, police found not only evidence of the burglary, but also a grenade.
The police carried out six search warrants on Friday morning in the Berlin districts of Altglienicke, Tegel and Marzahn and in Schwedt / Oder in Brandenburg (Uckermark district).
Drugs, tools, alarm weapons and a rifle, among other things, were confiscated.
