Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The second division handball players of HSV Hamburg cannot play their home game against EHV Aue planned for this Sunday because the Saxon team is in quarantine.

As the Hanseatic League announced on Friday, Aue's penultimate opponent TuS Ferndorf had a positive corona case.

Although the Auer players had tested negative twice since then and the EHV had played against Bayer Dormagen (29:28) on Thursday, the quarantine was now ordered.

“Of course it's always good to have a rhythm and be on the move.

But what should we cry about now, it has already hit other teams, ”said Hamburg coach Torsten Jansen.

The next game of the league leaders will take place on March 19th in Dormagen.

There is not yet a catch-up date for the Aue game.
