This private aeronautic high school, created in 1949, is under contract with the State.

The school officially took the name of Airbus high school in 2007. General education is provided by teachers from National Education, technical training by Airbus employees seconded to the high school.

This year, due to the health crisis, the Airbus high school in Toulouse is organizing open doors 2.0.

On Saturday, it is virtually, on its website, that young people attracted to the aeronautical professions will be able to discover this vocational school, from 10 am to 11 am.

Each year, nearly 300 young people are trained within the establishment, located in the Minimes-Ponts-Jumeaux district, near the Airbus Saint-Eloi factory.

Be motivated for manual and team work

The Airbus high school prepares for vocational training in machining technician, industrial boiler technician, baccalaureate pro aeronautics option avionics, baccalaureate pro aeronautics option structure and baccalaureate pro aeronautics option systems.

A post-baccalaureate aeronautical painting technician training is also offered.

The vocational baccalaureate training takes place over three years, under school status for the first two years, then as an apprenticeship in the last year of the baccalaureate.

They are aimed at girls and boys with a minimum level of third class and maximum of first.

Candidates must be motivated for manual and team work, in order to be able to work on the production or assembly sites of airplanes, helicopters or satellites of Airbus and its partners.

In 2020, more than 95% of high school students found a job or continued their studies after graduating.
