Ahlen / Münster (dpa / lnw) - In the case of the 34-year-old who was shot almost three months ago in Ahlen in the Münsterland region, a reward of 55,000 euros was offered for relevant information.

As the Münster police announced on Friday, EUR 50,000 came from the victim's family and EUR 5,000 from the Münster public prosecutor's office.

The 34-year-old was shot on the evening of December 10th immediately in front of his front door in Ahlen while getting out of his vehicle.

According to the investigation, he had previously worked in a bistro in Ahlen.

Then he picked up food from a pub on the way home.

The reward was given for clues leading to the identification and apprehension of the perpetrator.

On the day after the crime, the public prosecutor stated that there was no evidence of the perpetrator (s) or a possible motive.

On Friday, the public prosecutor did not provide any information on the status of their investigations.
