Welcome everyone to interview the Fourth Session of the 13th National People's Congress.

Just now the preparatory meeting of the congress approved the agenda of the congress. The 13th National People’s Congress actually had 2,953 deputies. So far 2,907 deputies have reported to the congress.

All preparations for the conference have been completed.

　　Zhang Yesui: This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. At a new historical starting point, the forthcoming Fourth Session of the 13th National People's Congress is a major event in my country's political life.

The conference will be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, adhere to the organic unity of party leadership, the people being the masters of the country, and the rule of law, closely focus on the overall work of the party and the country, and earnestly exercise the powers conferred by the Constitution and the law to form a unified A conference of democracy, unity, truth-seeking and forging ahead.

　　Zhang Yesui: The conference will last for 7 days. It will open on the morning of March 5 and close on the afternoon of the 11th.

The second item is to review the draft of the fourteenth five-year plan for national economic and social development and the 2035 long-term goal outline.

The third item is to review the plan report and draft.

The fourth item is to review the budget report and draft.

The fifth item is to review the motion of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on submitting the "Organization Law of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China (Draft Amendment)" for review.

The sixth item is to review the motion of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on submitting the "Rules of Procedure of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China (Draft Amendment)" for deliberation.

The seventh item is to review the "Decision of the National People's Congress on Improving the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's Electoral System (Draft)."

The eighth item is to review the work report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

The ninth item is to review the work report of the Supreme People's Court.

The tenth item is to review the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

　　Zhang Yesui: Like the third session of the 13th National People's Congress, the duration of this conference will be shortened appropriately.

The conference will adhere to the established meeting agenda. The format of the conference will remain unchanged, the elements will not be reduced, the preparatory meeting, the plenary meeting, the bureau meeting, the bureau executive chairman meeting and the delegation plenary meeting, representative group meeting, etc., will be held in strict compliance with legal regulations and legal procedures.
