Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - A 32-year-old driver triggered a chain of collisions with his turning maneuver in Heidenheim.

He braked on Wednesday evening and blinked properly to drive into a driveway, as the Ulm police announced.

An 18-year-old behind him was probably traveling too fast and had to brake hard.

This in turn led to a 21-year-old - also probably too fast - crashing into the car behind him.

The impact was so severe that it pushed the 18-year-old's car into the 32-year-old's car and into another parked car.

A fifth vehicle was damaged by flying parts.

The 18-year-old was slightly injured.

The damage was estimated at 23,000 euros.
