Haseldorf (dpa / lno) - In a head-on collision with an oncoming car, a 55-year-old driver near Haseldorf (Pinneberg district) was killed on Thursday morning.
A 31-year-old driver was seriously injured in the accident, the police said.
According to previous knowledge, the woman's car collided head-on with the 55-year-old's oncoming car in a long right-hand bend for a previously unknown cause.
The man was rescued from his car by the fire brigade, but died at the scene of the accident.
The woman was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Hamburg.
