Berlin / Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - In Hesse, 932 new corona cases were confirmed within one day.
The number of deaths associated with the virus rose by 17 to 5894, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Thursday (as of 3:11 a.m.).
The so-called seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, was 68 across the country and thus slightly higher than the previous day (65.5).
In the regions, the Lahn-Dill district had the highest incidence value with 114.9, the Kassel district the lowest with 33.8.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 190 675 infections with the Sars-CoV-2 pathogen have been registered in Hesse.
