Wiesbaden (dpa / sn) - With the rise in temperatures, people in Saxony are increasingly drawn outside despite restrictions due to the corona pandemic.
As can be seen from current data from the Federal Statistical Office, mobility picked up in the seventh calendar week (February 15 to 21) and was even five percent above the pre-crisis level in February 2019.
In a nationwide comparison, the numbers are developing more cautiously.
According to the statisticians, mobility in Germany was eleven percent in the seventh calendar week and four percent below the reference value from February 2019 in the eighth week (22nd to 26th February). Overall, since the beginning of the year, “an adjustment of mobility to the pre-crisis level has been possible observe, ”wrote the statisticians.
