Oberstdorf (dpa) - The five German ski jumpers around world champion Markus Eisenbichler have sovereignly qualified for the World Cup singles on Friday (5 p.m. / ZDF and Eurosport).
Eisenbichler took third place in the qualification on Thursday evening after jumping 127.5 meters, making him the best German.
Karl Geiger (12th), Severin Freund (19th), Pius Paschke (22nd) and Martin Hamann (27th) also had no problems getting into the top 50.
The victory in the qualification went to the Austrian Stefan Kraft, who jumped 127 meters.
Top favorite Halvor Egner Granerud from Norway is out of the competition after a positive corona test.
