Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The resolutions of the Prime Minister's Conference on the Corona situation in Germany on Wednesday met with approval from the Hamburger Sportbund (HSB).

"From our point of view, this shows important perspectives for returning to sports," said HSB board member Ralph Lehnert on Thursday upon request.

“We would have liked to see outdoor sports open to more people - preferably with distance regulation.

But our central demands for the release of outdoor sports before indoor activities and the prioritization of children's and youth sports have evidently been heard. "

In Hamburg, five people from two households and a maximum of 20 children should be allowed to do contact-free sport in outdoor facilities on Monday, as long as the limit of 50 infections per 100,000 inhabitants is not exceeded in seven days.

The sport can then also be carried out contact-free in indoor sports facilities from March 22nd at the earliest.

The prerequisite for this is a negative corona rapid test.

Ralph Lehnert: “We will now work in close contact with the State Sports Office to ensure that practicable ways are found for a quick implementation.

In particular, the subject of "testing in sports clubs" will have to be further developed and discussed in the near future. »

It is conceivable that selected clubs with an existing infrastructure could take on the function of a “test center”.
