According to her, to suppress the new wave, it is necessary to vaccinate 25% of the population in Russia in two months, or about 30% by May.

"We must vaccinate either 25% of the country's population, if we talk about a fairly one-time high campaign that will last no more than two months, or if this campaign is stretched until May and inoculated consistently, then it will take about 30%," RIA quotes her News.

As Skvortsova noted, her calculations are based on information that the vaccine has an efficiency of about 94% and post-vaccination immunity lasts more than six months.
