Pashinyan said this during the government hour in parliament.

“We can hold early elections during 2021, if the opposition - and most importantly, the parliamentary opposition - agrees to hold them [by signing a relevant memorandum].

To this end, I have already invited the leaders of the opposition factions to meet and hold consultations, ”TASS quotes him.

Earlier, during a rally in Yerevan, Pashinyan said that he "challenges the parliamentary opposition" and proposes to go to early parliamentary elections.

On the morning of February 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

He called the statement of the General Staff an attempt at a military coup.

The conflict between the military and Pashinyan led to protests in Yerevan, where rallies are held by both supporters and opponents of the head of the Cabinet.
