Münster (dpa / lnw) - The Constitutional Court of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia deals on March 23 with a so-called organ complaint on the abuse investigation committee in the Düsseldorf state parliament.

Five MPs from the SPD and the Greens see violations of the state constitution because, in their opinion, the Ministry of the Interior and Justice have only delivered the files requested by the committee incomplete, as the Constitutional Court announced in Münster on Wednesday.

In the opinion of the parliamentarians, an essential part of the files is missing.

In addition, for the most part no unprocessed original files were made available.

After the numerous cases of sexual abuse at a campsite in Lüdge, the investigative committee on child abuse is supposed to clarify whether the state government or the subordinate authorities with the police and the youth welfare offices have made mistakes or neglect in coming to terms with them.

The Constitutional Court will not announce a decision after the oral hearing, but will designate a further date.
