China Overseas Chinese Network, March 3, according to the American Overseas Chinese News Network, the Chinese tram driver Liu Yongfa, who was also brave enough in the Chinatown robbery on the evening of February 26, Brooklyn, New York, was pushed into the operating room on March 1 due to a knife-edge burst again .

The Asian Human Rights Defense League called on the public to actively donate to Liu Yongfa, who was seriously injured and has a 3-year-old child to raise in his family, to help him recover quickly and overcome the current difficulties.

It is reported that in the robbery on the 26th, three Chinese were stabbed and admitted to the hospital, including men surnamed Jiang and Lin. The two have been discharged and returned home. However, the tram driver Liu Yongfa, who had acted bravely, was still hospitalized because of his injuries.

During this period, he had undergone two operations and showed signs of improvement. Unexpectedly, he was pushed into the operating room again due to an incision burst in the afternoon of March 1.

According to Liu Yongfa’s account, on the evening of the 26th, when he parked at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and 57th Street to wait for work, he saw chaos on the opposite side of the road. A fellow from Fuzhou told him that a robbery had occurred. He immediately called the police with his mobile phone. While waiting for the police to provide an interpreter while calling the police, he saw that the opponent was fighting fiercely, so he took a hammer and rushed up.

He said that he only wanted to catch the gangster at the time. He didn’t think about personal safety at all. He didn’t think of anything else. During the fight, he faced two gangsters alone. Unexpectedly, another gangster ran out to attack him from behind and stabbed him in the waist. .

It is reported that Liu Yongfa, who has just turned 40 this year, had a knife in the back of his hand and waist during the fight, especially his waist was severely injured and lung infections. For this reason, he survived two operations and saved his life.

Although he had gone through life and death, Liu Yongfa did not regret at all that he had acted bravely because everyone was Chinese. Of course, the Chinese had to help the Chinese, but he did not expect that the other party had a knife this time and attacked him from behind.

It is reported that Liu Yongfa's parents from Langqi, Fujian have died early, and there is a 3-year-old child in his family who needs him to raise.

Affected by the epidemic, he had a dismal income when driving a tram. This time he was seriously injured because of his bravery, and he encountered difficulties in life.

To this end, Chen Shanzhuang, the general convener of the Asian Rights Defense League, called on the public to donate to Liu Yongfa, who was brave enough to help him survive his severe injury.
