Burbach (dpa / lnw) - During construction work, an excavator in Burbach in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district overturned and fell on a residential building.
The vehicle damaged the facade on Wednesday afternoon and, according to an initial estimate, caused damage of at least 50,000 euros, said a police spokesman in Siegen.
Nobody was injured.
Because the excavator is so heavy, a special mining company was called in.
The responsible office for occupational safety wants to take a closer look at the incident.
