Marl (dpa / lnw) - Customs officers have arrested a suspected drug dealer in Marl.

During the search of two objects, 500 grams of marijuana and six firearms and ammunition were found, as customs announced on Wednesday.

The officers had previously seized 1.8 kilograms of pure cocaine.

The drug was found in the form of cocaine solution during a control at Leipzig airport in December.

The liquid was disguised as a cleaning agent.

The man from the city in the Recklinghausen district was later identified as the alleged recipient of the shipment.

A special unit then arrested the 27-year-old in his parents' apartment at the end of February.

The weapons found were several air rifles, alarm pistols and a live revolver.

The man is now in custody on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Act.
