A 40-year-old man resident in Skaraborg was today sentenced by Skaraborg District Court to three years in prison for aggravated sexual abuse of children and aggravated child pornography crime.
The police tracked down the man after finding photographs on a computer belonging to another man who had been arrested for child pornography offenses.
The photographs could be traced to the man in Skaraborg.
Many pictures on computer
In addition to the pictures and films he himself took, the man has had hundreds of pictures and several films of serious abuse of children on his computer and mobile phone.
The man claims that he took the pictures and sent them to people he got in touch with via the internet to try to help the police track down pedophiles, something that the district court finds is an afterthought.
