02 March 2021A tour organized by Ravenna Festival which symbolically begins in spring.

Riccardo Muti and his Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra cross the peninsula from north to south.

The concerts recorded in Bergamo, Naples and Palermo will be in free streaming respectively from 21, 26 and 28 March.

The first stop in a city very affected by the pandemic is significant: the concert at the Donizetti Theater features the Don Pasquale Symphony and Beethoven's Eroica and will be broadcast on the BPER Banca website, which supports the event.

In Naples, where Muti and Cherubini will perform Mercadante's Symphony from I due Figaro and Symphony n.

9 by Schubert, the show is made possible by the collaboration with Napoli Teatro Festival, which will host it on its official website.

Finally, the web TV of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo will broadcast the Symphony n.

3 by Schubert and the Symphony “From the New World” by Dvořák.

In collaboration with RMMUSIC, the three concerts will remain available for 30 days.

Just at the Donizetti Theater, in 2016, Riccardo Muti had celebrated fifty years of career with Don Pasquale's Symphony because - he said on that occasion - “I want to leave you with a sense of hope and a smile”.

An even more topical message today, in view of the reopening of the theaters and the desirable exit from the emergency.
