"These vaccines are: AstraZeneca, which is manufactured by Medimmune Pharma in the Netherlands, Coronavac, manufactured by Sinovac in China, and COMIRNATY (Pfizer), which is manufactured by BioNTech in Germany," Malaysia's Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Hayri Jamaluddin, tweeted.
He noted that AstraZeneca vaccines for Malaysia and the Pacific will be manufactured in Thailand.
Earlier, Malaysian Prime Minister Muhiddin Yassin announced the start of a campaign for mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus on February 26.
