As the second division soccer team announced on Tuesday, the Dutchman tore an ankle ligament in his left ankle in the city derby on Monday against FC St. Pauli (0: 1).
The 22-year-old made his comeback on Monday after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture in the last game of last season.
In the 59th minute, the central defender for Gideon Jung came into the game.
In stoppage time, van Drongelen started a tackle against St. Paulis Igor Matanovic, in which he unluckily got stuck in the grass and suffered another injury.
