Kiel (dpa / lno) - The seven-day incidence in Schleswig-Holstein continues to fluctuate around 50. On Monday, 49.7 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported in 7 days.

This emerges from data published by the Ministry of Health in Kiel (data status: 1.3., 8.18 p.m.).

On Sunday the value was 50.0 - and on Monday a week ago it was 49.3.

At the last federal-state meeting, a maximum of 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days was set as the target for the next opening steps.

On Wednesday, the prime ministers of the federal states will meet the Federal Chancellor again to discuss the further strategy in the corona crisis.

98 new corona infections were registered - a week earlier there were 93 confirmed new infections.

Experience has shown that the numbers are somewhat lower on the weekends and Mondays because less testing is carried out.

The number of corona deaths rose by 20 to 1305 on Monday.
