Director Spike Lee is preparing a documentary series for the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, an "unprecedented portrait" of New Yorkers and their ability to bounce back from the destruction of the World Trade Center to the current pandemic, the report said on Monday. The group did not say exactly when the series would air, on HBO and the HBO Max streaming platform, only indicating that it would be available "later this year," in a statement.
