The bridges that are created in this way extend into the district offices and the Bundestag.
One development in particular alarmed the Office for the Protection of the Constitution: Borders that existed a short time ago would no longer apply today. "We are currently seeing that violence is directed unrestrainedly against state power, but also against political opponents," says Thomas Haldenwang, President of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
