Niederhausen (dpa / lrs) - A 57-year-old motorcyclist fell into a ditch in Zweibrücken and was seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital with a broken leg and a concussion, the police said on Monday.
Accordingly, the driver was in a biker group on the state road 469 on Sunday when he carelessly got off the track.
His front wheel turned right onto a leafy strip of grass and lost control of his vehicle.
Then the man fell into the ditch.
The police estimated the damage to property at around 5,000 euros.
