Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - In North Rhine-Westphalia, vaccination capacities are to be increased from April 1st.

To this end, the districts and independent cities should be able to cooperate with up to five key practices, as is evident from a decree of the State Ministry of Health.

The draft has been submitted to the German Press Agency.

The decree says that in view of the “expected increase in vaccine quantities”, 8,000 vaccinations per month per 70,000 inhabitants must be possible instead of 7,000 vaccinations per month per 70,000 inhabitants.

Another vaccination center could be opened for each district or urban district.

“Cooperation with specialized practices is also made possible,” says the decree.
