Council of State: make sure that the mask is not harmful to children

01 March 2021 The obligation to wear a mask for a child with breathing difficulties has been suspended.

Thus the Council of State in a single decree.

We need "a new, urgent, motivated specific survey of the impact of prolonged use" of the masks on children under 12 "also in light of the criteria dictated by the WHO".

Because "the unjustified imposition of a protective device on very young schoolchildren presupposes the burden on the issuing authority to scientifically prove that its use does not have a harmful impact on the psycho-physical health of the recipients".

Thus expressed the president of the Third Section of the Council of State Franco Frattini.

At the origin of the case the appeal against the use of the mask presented to the TAR of Lazio by the parents of a girl who goes to school in the province of Bolzano.
