Hanover (dpa / lni) - With a new format out of the Corona misery: The Hanover Theater wants to overcome the lockdown by phone.
On March 16, the new format “When I call, word” will start, the theater announced on Monday.
The aim is for ensemble members to surprise the audience with poems and literary texts in one-to-one conversations on the phone.

Under a motto that changes every week, we have brought together literature and poetry with which we want to surprise, amuse and sometimes make people think, ”said actress and initiator Anja Herden.
In the first week, the motto of the campaign is “miracles”, in the further weeks of March “wanderlust” and “lust” are the main literary themes.
The appointments are on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Each phone call lasted about a quarter of an hour.
A total of ten actors from the ensemble are involved.
