Mannheim (AP) - The volleyball players from SC Potsdam missed the triumph in the DVV Cup.

On Sunday, the Brandenburgers had to admit surprisingly clearly 0: 3 (19:25, 13:25, 18:25) to SSC Palmberg Schwerin in the Mannheim SAP Arena.

While the Potsdam women were unable to reward themselves when they entered the finals for the first time, it was already the seventh cup success for the Mecklenburg women.

The last four duels of both teams in the Bundesliga had each gone over five sets and had suggested a closer game.

Since Jennifer Nogueras, who was only signed at the beginning of the year and who had played all league games since January, could not be used, Potsdam began with player Ana Tiemi Takagui.

The Brazilian, who played her last game for the Brandenburgers, had to leave the field at 12:22 in the first set and make way for Lindsay Flory.

But hardly anything changed in the appearance of the Potsdam women.

In the third period of the game Schwerin gave up an 11: 6 lead, but did not let that disturb the calm and transformed the first of six match points.
