Bad Langensalza (dpa) - The handball players of the Thuringian HC celebrated their fourth home win in a row in the Bundesliga.

Against VfL Oldenburg, the team of trainer Herbert Müller achieved a lackluster but undisputed 27:22 (14:11) success on Sunday afternoon.

Backcourt player Marketa Jerabkova became the best THC thrower with seven goals.

Two days after the sometimes spectacular exchange of blows in Blomberg, which ended with a 29:31 defeat, the Thuringian women did not radiate offensively this time.

With a short sprint before the break, they gained a three-goal lead at halftime, but then missed a long time to break away.

However, the Oldenburg women lacked the quality to seriously endanger the THC home win.
