Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, new corona infections have increased slightly again.
39 new corona infections were detected within 24 hours.
The seven-day incidence rose to 73.5, as the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced on Sunday (as of 4:00 p.m.).
The previous day the value was 73.0 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.
On Sunday a week ago, the value was 61.4.
The St. Wendel district had the highest incidence with a value of 87.4.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths rose by one case to 884.
A total of 28,933 infections have been detected across the Saarland so far.
According to the ministry, 1233 people in the Saarland are demonstrably infected with Sars-CoV-2.
155 of them are being treated in hospitals and 40 in intensive care units.
