The Iranian government has reiterated its position that the removal of sanctions by the United States is the first step, saying that it is not the right time to invite the United States to talks with the countries involved in the nuclear agreement.

The Iranian government announced last month that the EU-European Union had proposed to hold talks by the countries involved in the nuclear agreement in the form of inviting the United States, and the US Biden administration considering returning to the nuclear agreement also talked. He expressed his intention to participate if the event was held.

On the 28th, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying, "It is not the right time for discussions in light of the recent policies of the United States and European countries," and said that it would not respond at this time.

He reiterated that the United States must end the sanctions and keep the promise of the nuclear agreement again, saying that the sanctions should be lifted first.

Regarding the Iran nuclear agreement, the former Trump administration unilaterally withdrew in 2018 and resumed sanctions, while the Iranian side is proceeding with uranium enrichment that greatly deviates from the agreement as a countermeasure, and the IAEA = We have set restrictions on inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The United States has called for withdrawing these hard-line measures and keeping the agreement, but the Iranian side has said that the United States should change its policy first, and the gap between positions has not been closed.
