During the corona pandemic, Karlsham resident Caroline Blomqvist has realized her writing dream.

She believes that it was the pandemic that made her start the book project.

- I do not think I would have taken the time otherwise.

Now I have reflected and I want to follow at least one dream.

The daughter has inspired

The book is written for school-age children and is about everyday life during the corona.

The daughter Sigrid has been the inspiration for the book and Sigrid has had the last word on what should be in the book and what should be removed.

The pandemic runs like a common thread through the book, Johan Jansson who created the illustrations has thought of the details that characterize the corona everyday.

- It will be quite boring pictures if everyone is to stand meters apart, but in the classroom we have put hand alcohol on the tables and the children sit in their own benches, says Johan Jansson.

Find gold nuggets

The duo behind the book hopes that it will contribute to laughter in a different everyday life.

- You have to be able to find the little grains of gold and be able to laugh and find joy, says Caroline Blomqvist.
