Berlin (dpa / bb) - In Berlin, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week is again above 65. As can be seen from the situation report of the Senate Department for Health on Sunday, the so-called seven-day incidence was at 65.5 (previous day: 66.2).

103 new infections were reported.

There is usually not so much testing at the weekend, and late reports from the health authorities are also possible.

After the value fell significantly for a long time, the trend reversed again.

The corresponding Corona traffic light remains on red. It would only jump to yellow from a value of 30, and to green from 20.

The Neukölln district currently has the highest incidence (84.9), while Spandau has the lowest value with 50.2.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 129,357 people have been registered in Berlin.

121 051 people are considered recovered.

2,818 sufferers have already died in connection with a coronavirus infection.

No new deaths were reported on Sunday.

The Berlin Corona traffic light is still on yellow for the proportion of intensive care beds occupied by Covid 19 patients.

However, the proportion has fallen and is now 17.4 percent.

At 25 percent, the traffic light would jump to red.
