Egyptian dissidents abroad mocked the demand that the authority and its followers made to return to the country and the "opposition from within", after the journalist Jamal al-Jamal was arrested at Cairo airport as soon as he returned to Egypt and forcibly disappeared, before he was transferred to the Supreme State Security Prosecution for investigation.

Sources reported to Al-Jazeera Net that Al-Jamal returned to Cairo on February 22 from the Turkish city of Istanbul, and that the authorities at Cairo International Airport detained him upon his arrival and he remained hidden, before he appeared on Saturday evening, and he is presented to the prosecution.

Al-Jamal often expressed his desire to return to Egypt, before he actually did that this time, knowing that he was a supporter of the June 30, 2013 demonstrations that went out against the late President Mohamed Morsi and opened the door to the coup that was carried out by then Defense Minister Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. But he later began criticizing Sisi and his regime, so he was banned from writing, forcing him to leave Egypt in early 2017.

Activists on the communication sites circulated a video clip by the media, who is close to the authority, Nashat Al-Dehi, praising the writer Gamal Al-Gamal, and asking him to return to Egypt and the opposition from within.

Al-Daihi considered that the camel is one of the people of opinion and awareness, not incitement, and that he is not among those whose hands are stained with blood, he said.

And through the communication platforms, this mockery emanated from the demands of return, especially from Al-Daihi's call, in which he responded to what Al-Jamal wrote about two years ago regarding his desire to return to Egypt.

Journalist Wael Qandil wrote, "They said," Return an exhibitor from inside your country. When they returned, they took him from the airport and arrested him. "

He added, "It is important to record the moment of hiding our colleague Jamal al-Jamal from the airport after his return, so that Diaa Rashwan (the Syndicate of Journalists) does not come out to us after a while, appealing to citizen Jamal al-Jamal to quickly appear as if he hid himself."

Media and other opposition figures ridiculed the authority’s attempt to appear as someone who accepts the opposition, but from within, asserting that what happened with the camel confirms the lack of sincerity of the authority and its followers.

They said, "Go back an exhibitor from inside your country.

When they returned, they took him from the airport and arrested him in silence, amounting to an enforced disappearance.

We hold the authorities responsible for his life, and we put the matter before the conscience of the world.

I will not mention his name now, because perhaps they had some reason and wisdom in dealing with this respectable."

They are exalted by the Almighty as opposed from the inside, their intention was inside Egypt, and only inside prisons and jails? !!!

The arrest of the great journalist, Jamal Al-Jamal, upon his arrival at Cairo airport - returning from Istanbul - without any legal basis, except of course that he is an opponent returning home

Others - including the poet Abd al-Rahman Yusef - chose to allude to what Gamal al-Jamal had previously complained about about the difficult conditions that many Egyptian dissidents live abroad.

Dear friend, the writer, Professor # Jamal_Gamal, returned from Istanbul to Cairo after the earth narrowed to what it welcomed. The authorities arrested him at the airport, as expected ..

Oh God, we complain to you with stab wounds in the chest .. and another in the back .. Oh God, your victory that you promised # Where_jamal_jamal pic. twitter.com/JWYZTCvxeA

In any dictatorial country, the return of a writer the size of a #beauty_gamel would have been a golden opportunity to receive him and demonstrate false tolerance, hypothetical rationality and reason, with the aim of polishing the page of regime practices and beautification in front of the world after the start of recovery from Trump's disease.

Unfortunately, we are not a dictatorship, we are a semi-state.

It is noteworthy that the journalist Jamal El-Gamal presented the program "The Eight Hour" through the opposition Al-Sharq channel that broadcasts from Istanbul for more than a year and a half, before he stopped appearing on the screens of the Egyptian opposition channels for reasons he said were healthy, and he only wrote on his personal page.

Then he reappeared, on an occasional basis, on Al-Jazeera Mubasher, to comment on Egyptian political events, while he was writing on his page about the miserable conditions of the opposition.

Sources close to Al-Jamal told Al-Jazeera Net that, days before his return to Egypt, he communicated with a number of his fellow journalists in Egypt in order to inform them of his return and to inquire about the potential risks.

The same sources indicated that the head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate, Diaa Rashwan, assured the camel that there were no cases or prosecutions for him, and therefore he could return.
