We are here to check that people take care of themselves and to be helpful if something should happen, says traffic police Christer Lindén.

"Keep distance"

The most common accidents on weekends like this are accidents where cars run into each other from behind.

- People have become worse at keeping their distance, we see that, Lindén says.

Increase in traffic during the pandemic

He sees no reduction in weekend traffic during the pandemic:

- Rather, it has increased, people take good care to leave when they work from home and so on, he says.
