Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The seven-day incidence of new corona infections has increased slightly in North Rhine-Westphalia.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, the value on Saturday was 64.8 - after 63.9 on Friday.

A week earlier, the key figure on Saturday was 58.

The incidence indicates the number of new infections within a week based on 100,000 inhabitants.

According to the RKI, new infections have been registered since Friday in 2013.

70 people died in NRW from or with the virus.

If the value was below 35, politicians had promised to ease the previous restrictions.

The lowest new infections were reported on Saturday for Münster with a value of 29.2.

Bielefeld also fell below the threshold of 35 with an incidence of 33.2.

For Cologne, the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia, the RKI gave the value 68.

In Düsseldorf, 54.7 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were registered within 7 days, in Dortmund 62. Measured by the incidence value, the situation was most tense in Solingen (128.7), in the Märkisches Kreis (123.3), in Hagen (104 , 4) and in the Düren district (102).
