The reason for the start of the clashes was that when the demonstrators tried to enter the park of St. Stephens Green, one of the protesters pointed an object like a lit firecracker at the policeman.
Earlier in Madrid, Barcelona and other Spanish cities, protests were held against the sentence of the rap artist Pablo Asel, some of them escalated into riots.
