Pashinyan urged his supporters to come to the rally on March 1

"Dear compatriots, on Monday, March 1, I invite you to a rally on Republic Square at 18:30 (17:30 Moscow time)," he wrote.

On the morning of February 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia demanded Pashinyan's resignation.

After that, the Prime Minister of Armenia called the statement of the General Staff calling for his resignation an attempt at a military coup.

The conflict between the military and Pashinyan led to protests in Yerevan, in the capital of the country, rallies were held by both supporters and opponents of the head of government.
